Wow, it has been 12 LONG weeks =)

So happy to announce that Paul and I are expecting another baby!!! I am 12 weeks and praying for a healthy baby to bless our house. We are due in October!!!

Girls Weekend

I had a great time visiting with my girlfriends Julie, Karen, and Jennifer. I have been friends with them since I was 15 years old. They met here at my house and we had a really fun and relaxing weekend together. Jennifer is 5 months pregnant with her first child so we had a little shower for her and took her shopping for her first time to look at all the baby stuff. We had a lot of fun catching up. I am so thankful to have these friends that have known me forever and we can still be so close. One of the best parts on the weekend is that we rented Twilight- If anyone knows me well they know that Edward Cullen is a real new love in my life =) just kidding, but I really love that book series and the movie A LOT!!!

Thank you Paul for taking Mary Claire to the Lake and giving us some time together- I missed you both very much and can't wait to see you when you get home!!

Thanks Ashley!!!

My friend Ashley is always doing something fun and creative. She did this same this for her spring door decoration and posted step by step directions. I decided to try and I think it turned out realy cute. I made a HUGE mess doing it and I think it drove my husband a little crazy, but I had fun.

If you want to try- it is foam that you can cut out the last letter of your name and glue on green moss ( I used craft glue- i think ashley used good ole elmers)- then you can hang with ribbon or not at all- i also added this brown wire stuff which you can't really tell from the pictures.

Just something fun I thought I would share- Thanks Ashley, you inspire me to be creative!!!

7 Happy Years

Yesterday Paul and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary. I am so very thankful for a husband that loves the Lord and his family the way Paul does. We have had way more ups than we have downs, way more smiles than tears, and we are blessed beyond measure. Thankful doesn't quite cover my feeling. I did nothing in my life to deserve this such sweet happiness. Thank You Lord for a sweet, loving, hardworking, God fearing husband. I love you Paul with all of my heart and I always, always will.

This girl on american idol sang this song last night and i was trying to tell Paul how really cool I thought it was when i was in junior high. Still pretty cool with Slash from Guns n Roses.
I wish he would make some big comeback, I think it is really sad they way his life has turned out when he used to be one of the most celebrated people in the world.
Go Michael Jackson- you are still cool in my book. Just thought I would share =)

Life is Grand

Life is Grand!

My dear friend, Shannon, tagged me with this Life is Grand award which means I have to list 5 things that makes my life grand. Here they are:
1. I am so so very thankful for the dear friends that we have made since being married and living in central arkansas. We do not have any blood family close, and I am an only child-but let me tell you I have sisters in Christ-I am thankful to have true friends just a phone call away.

2. Life is also grand when you have a husband that is your best friend... he is and i am thankful.

3. I love my job! I love making a difference in someone's life. sorry, i had to steal this one Shannon =)

4. I am a mommy to the sweetest, most energetic, fun, creative, honest little girl and she is healthy and happy- I love her more than anything in the whole world.

5. Life is grand because I am a child of God. I am in his plan. I don't have to worry, even though I sometimes do- I know in good times, and in sorrow that in the end he is in control and I can relax and let him take care of my worries.

Prayer Request- Please pray for Zoe.

Please pray for a sweet little girl named Zoe Goss- she is 5 years old and has been diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, possibly stage 3 with stage 4 being the worst. I do not have have honor of knowing this sweet child, but a very dear friend passed her story along to me. If this were your child you would want EVERYONE to pray so I am passing this along. Please pray for Zoe and her family and her doctors at ACH.
