Softball :)

mary claire is NOT competitive and and does not take life very seriously, however since we bought our bat, balls, and glove ( this will be our first year to try softball) she wants to practice her softball skills everyday. so glad it makes her happy, wonder if we have found her " thing" - she loves gymnastics too but not like this :) little sis loves to play also :) love these girls!!!

Daddy Daughter Dance 2012

Paul and MC enjoy their last daddy daughter dance with just the two of them :) Next year Whitney will be joining them. How special is the bond they have?? I am So thankful!!!

a Giving Heart!

Thanks be to Jesus for Mary Claire's giving heart!! A few weeks ago, I presented her with the idea of giving for her birthday instead of receiving.... little did I know how much she would love it!! She picked our local Maumelle animal shelter!! We asked that her birthday guests bring gifts for the animals and we were so excited to have a Huge amount of food, toys, treats, and money for the shelter. The workers there were really happy and could not believe how happy MC was to give instead of receive presents for birthday!

every year i say it...every year i mean it... but Really SEVEN, I just can't Believe it at all... I am so proud to be Mary Claire's Momma. She is an amazing little girl and we are grateful for her to be healthy and happy and giving and she loves Jesus... i am her momma and i could go on and on.
one day, mary claire will read this- i will print this blog onto a book and she will know that the night she turned seven I cried tears of Joy and thanked Jesus for her life and for trusting us to take care of her.
