we lost our Pops to a horrible tragedy 2 weeks ago. the last two weeks have been filled with a lot of sadness and grief. we surely know that God is present even in the midst of these sad days. we trust that in the end, we will all be in Heaven together where no one can ever harm any of us again. holding on tight to the people we love and our faith and praying daily for peace that passes all understanding.
our little girls love Pops and while MC knows that he is in Heaven, whitney has no idea and continues to talk about him everyday. i just smile and say he loves you very much.
One thing i know for sure. Pops was a christian, he is in Heaven, he is not sad and those things make me cry tears of joy.

Hang in there. Keep your faith strong and keep leaning on those big arms of our loving God. Know that you are loved by so many and remember those great words of Jesus- "In my Father's house there are many rooms and I go to prepare a place for you". rest on the truth that your "pops" has his room where there will be no suffering and no pain. Keep the faith strong.
